PHILLIPS COUNTY PHEASANTS FOREVER
Pheasants Forever is a nonprofit conservation organization founded in 1982 in response to the continuing decline of he ring-necked pheasant population.
Pheasants Forever is dedicated to the protection and enhancement of pheasant and other upland wildlife populations through habitat improvement, public awareness, education and land management policy changes.
Pheasants Forever is fortified by a unique system of county chapters that provide incentive for sportsmen and women to raise money because chapters get to decide how to spend 100% of the net funds they raise.
A typical chapter habitat restoration program might include elements of the following: nesting cover renovations, winter cover plantings, food plot establishments, wetland restorations and land acquisitions.
Chapters also support youth education and conservation legislation benefiting the ringneck and other upland wildlife populations at both the state and federal levels.
The Phillips County Pheasants Forever Chapter works to improve habitat in Northeastern Colorado. We cooperate with the Colorado Department of Wildlife and other Pheasant Forever Chapters to identify, fund, and construct habitat projects in Northeastern Colorado.
Pheasants Forever is a national organization of local chapters which raise and spend their money locally. You can become a member by contacting Pheasants Forever National through their website pheasantsforever.org.
